The thing that strikes me are the bright, bold eye-catching colours – hot pinks, fluro yellows and oranges – and the bold, modern fonts.

I find looking at bookstore shelves fascinating and awesome research on book cover trends.

While some are still designed quite traditionally, there’s been such a move toward more bold, striking designs as a way of standing out.
