Editing and proofreading your book correctly and carefully is essential.

Errors Be-Gone!

No one produces the perfect words, error-free, the first time or by themselves. No matter how good a writer they might be!

The secret to most authors success, is the quality of their editor.

And editor doesn’t just check for spelling and grammar issues – but they really polish up your prose and enhance your content to showcase your brilliance.

1. What's the difference between editing and proofreading?

Proofreading – involves checking for spelling and grammar issues only.

Editing – involves checking sentence construction, intent and meaning, consistency, tone, style and more.

2. Do I need editing AND proofreading?

Ideally, yes you do. If you’re wanting your book to be picked up by bookstores and to sell, you’ll want to get this right.

Normally, you’d start with editing and progress to proofreading. Preferably, by two separate people.
